The IDCore 3121 FIDO is a contactless card from Thales for passwordless authentication. This card also supports MIFARE EV1 4k applications. It allows you to use a single card for both logical access to computer systems and physical access to buildings. This is a plug & play smartcard that will allow you to implement a two-factor logical access and security infrastructure on Windows and other FIDO2-compliant operating systems. The IDCore 3121 FIDO supports passwordless access to cloud apps and network domains.
It offers contactless communication, supporting the ISO 14443/NFC standards. The IDCore 3121 FIDO card is also available with a MIFARE 4k option. The card has 586kB of user ROM, of which up to 98.3kB is available for resident keys, certificates, additional applets and data.
The chip used is CC EAL6+ certified. The card is FIDO2 compliant and U2F Certified.
This card provides seamless Windows integration, without the need for additional middleware. Contactless operation requires a suitable PC/SC compliant contactless smartcard reader.
