The Thales NFC reader is a 13.56 MHz USB contactless smartcard reader that supports a wide range of credentials, including ISO 14443 type A and B cards, MIFARE, FeliCa, ISO 15693 and ISO 18092-compliant NFC cards and tags. This is a robust reader that can be used in challenging environments, tested to IP67 for resistance to dust and water.
The reader supports modes including card reader/writer, card emulation and keyboard emulation.
The Thales NFC reader is CCID and PC/SC compliant, for maximum interoperability with various different devices and applications and supports download speeds up to 848kbps.
This particular model is housed in a sleek black plastic case with a captive cable, USB-C to USB-A adapter, and cleverly designed stand for desk mounting at a convenient angle.
