The IDPrime 3940 CC FIDO is a combined FIDO2 and dual interface card from Thales. It is a plug & play PKI smartcard authenticator that will allow you to implement a strong two-factor logical access and security infrastructure on Windows and other platforms. The IDPrime 3940 supports passwordless access to cloud apps & network domains. It offers communication over both contact and contactless interfaces, supporting the ISO 7816 and ISO 14443/NFC standards. The IDPrime 3940 FIDO dual interface card is an update on the MD 3810 dual interface card. It offers faster data transfer over the contact card interface, improved cryptographic support (including RSA up to 4096 bits). It is CC EAL5+ / PP Java Card certified and eIDAS qualified for both eSignature and eSeal, by the French ANSSI. It is FIDO2 compliant and U2F Certified level 1.
Offers seamless Windows integration, without the need for additional middleware. Contactless operation requires a suitable PC/SC compliant contactless smartcard reader.
