The IDPrime 3930 FIDO is a combined FIDO2 and dual interface card from Thales. This is a plug & play PKI smartcard authenticator that will allow you to implement a strong two-factor logical access and security infrastructure on Windows, macOS X and Linux. The IDPrime 3930 supports passwordless access to cloud apps and network domains.
It offers communication over both contact and contactless interfaces, supporting the ISO 7816 and ISO 14443/NFC standards. The IDPrime 3930 FIDO dual interface card is the FIPS140-2 Level 2 certified alternative to the IDPrime 3940 CC FIDO. It offers fast data transfer over the contact card interface and support for a wide range of PKI cryptographic algorithms, including RSA up to 4096 bits. The card has 400kB Java Flash memory, of which 55kB is available for resident keys, certificates, additional applets and data.
The chip used is CC EAL6+ certified. The card is FIDO2 compliant and U2F Certified.
This card provides seamless Windows integration, without the need for additional middleware. Contactless operation requires a suitable PC/SC compliant contactless smartcard reader.
